Redmi Note 10 5G with less than PHP 10,000 before taxes and duties

Beijing, China – March 04, 2021 – Redmi, a former sub-brand of Xiaomi, launch the 5G version of the 10th generation Redmi Note Series, which is an unexpected surprise. The handset comes with a 5G-ready chip, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G. In addition to this 5G-ready smartphone, Redmi also releases the following devices: Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 Pro.

We did not see this coming. We never thought that they will launch a 5G smartphone. All we know is that they will release only 3 smartphones, and there you go, an additional handset to the lineup.

In addition, they didn’t just say it’s equipped with 5G, but they also added much more. The device has a 90Hz refresh rate on a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It also shares the same Universal Flash Storage, 2.2 with the basic version. Not only that, but they also share the same battery capacity and charging capability, and a 48 MP camera. However, this version has only 3 cameras at the rear.

Moreover, most of the handsets in the series sport either an AMOLED display or SuperAMOLED display, the 5G version only sport an IPS-LCD. But, the most exciting part of this handset is MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G.

And for the price? Of course, it’s cheaper compare to those with the same price specs and features. The Redmi Note 10 5G has a tag price of $199 for 4GB + 64GB (≈PHP 9,600) variant and $229 for 4GB + 128GB (≈PHP 11,000) variant.

At long last, we now have a wonderful idea of what things the new series are built with. It came as no surprise that this series has more to offer despite its price tag. Let us also add that these smartphones are certified by SGS for Low Blue Light emission. Xiaomi also adds that these smartphones have a feature, Reading Mode 3.0.

Redmi AirDots 3 features a QCC3040 chipset

February 25, 2021 – Beijing, China – Redmi, a former sub-brand of Xiaomi, released the Redmi AirDots 3 that features a QCC3040 chip. The new airdot from Redmi was released together with other devices: Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro+, and a couple of more.

Not only that the Redmi AirDots 3 features a QCC3040 chip, but the TWS device also features Bluetooth 5.2 connection and aptX Adaptive codec for upgraded sound quality.

The TWS product also supports multi-functional touch control, a built-in XiaoAi AI voice assistant, which is equal to Alexa of Amazon, and an MIUI compatible pop-up window to help enable instant viewing for connection and battery status.

Our favorite part of this product is it offers 7-hour non-stop music streaming for a single charge. And the 600mAh battery capacity of the charging case extends the total battery life up to an incredible 30 hours.

This new TWS is priced at CNY 199 (1,500 pesos). The Redmi AirDots 3 will be available for purchase from all Xiaomi official channels in Mainland China on March 4th, 2021. And as of now, we don’t have confirmation as to when it will become available in the global market.

Redmi K40 scored 691,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark and specs

Beijing, China – February 25, 2021 – Redmi, a former sub-brand of Xiaomi, released three smartphones: Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+. Only the two pro versions have the Snapdragon 888, which is the flagship chip right now in the market. But that doesn’t mean the Redmi K40 is something you can put aside. The Redmi K40 scored 691,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark, a better score than Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (640,000).

Before you move to the specs, price, availability section, we just want to remind you that this device may become a rebranded Xiaomi smartphone or POCO. It may be another POCO flagship or Mi T series. But hopefully, we expect that it will be available globally so we can get our hands on a bang-for-the-buck Xiaomi smartphone or Redmi smartphone.
