Metro Manila, Philippines – Today, we’re going to make POCO F3 vs POCO F4. Two upper-midrange phones that are both well-liked by the POCO Community. But some folks are not happy with the specs of the POCO F4 due to less upgrade you’ll get if you buy the phone coming from POCO F3.
So here we are—We are going to label the advantages of the other phone over the other. This comes up in our mind since most POCO fans are having a hard time disguising the difference between the two upper-midrange phones.
Although both phones carry the same Snapdragon 870 5G 7nm partner with Adreno 650, their cooling system is different. In this section, POCO F4 has the advantage. POCO F3 may have the Liquid Cooling 1.0 Plus, but the POCO F4 has the LiquidCool Technology 2.0 cooling system. This new system gives 400% higher than the cooling system in the POCO F3. This means, that even though both phones carry the same chip, their performance will differ in terms of longevity since POCO F4 has more cooling capability.
In this section, the only difference we saw is that the POCO F4’s E4 AMOLED display has Dolby Vision. Aside from that, we are unable to see a factor that we can say is an advantage of POCO F4.
And here we will see a big difference. POCO F4 has all the advantages. We also think that POCO enhanced its camera features to make the upgrade more reasonable. The latter device has a 64MP triple camera, its main camera with 64MP is an OIS.
In addition, the POCO F4 can record 4k@60fps, unlike the POCO F3 which can only record 4k@30fps.
Battery & Charging
Well, it’s pretty clear from the spec sheet that POCO F4 has the advantage since it offers 2 times that of POCO F3’s charging speed. Although the POCO F3 is only 20mAh batter higher than the POCO F4.
Although POCO F4 is clearly the winner, we still say that if you’re considering buying a new phone, coming from a lower-tier segment, the POCO F3 is still a good option if you can get it at a price below PHP 15, 000 with the help of vouchers.
Then, if you’re coming from POCO F3 and want to upgrade to POCO F4, the value is still there and we are confident that you’ll be satisfied. Especially if you have the means to upgrade.
However, if you’re looking for more value, then we suggest pulling the trigger on POCO F4 GT.
