Beijing, CHINA – February 8, 2023 – It was in 2021 that Xiaomi came back into the smart-pad market after years of absence. Xiaomi released Xiaomi Pad 5 in the process and added Redmi Pad in 2022. Both tablets were a huge success due to the demand for online classes and content creators who are looking for budget smart-pads that can cater to their needs and wants. So there won’t be any surprise at all if Xiaomi is planning to introduce the Xiaomi Pad 6 this year 2023.
As a matter of fact, there are rumors that there will be two devices in Xiaomi Pad 6 Series: Xiaomi Pad 6 (base version) and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro (pro version).
According to Digital Chat Station, both pad 6 models will sports an 11-inch IPS LCD display with 2880 x 1800 pixels resolution and 120/144Hz refresh rates. Panels will of course support HDR10+ and the always-used Dolby Vision. Unfortunately, the Xiaomi Pad 6 took the Snapdragon 870 instead of Snapdragon 888. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro took the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 to smart up its functionality and will have up to 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM to help the configuration even more better. And lastly, both tablets will support 67W turbocharging and are expected to have 8,000-10,000mAh battery juice.
