Few days ago, Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 Youth Doraemon Limited Edition to celebrate the 50th year anniversary of Doraemon.
Who/what is Doraemon?
Just to share for the Gen Zs, Doraemon is an anime that was dubbed here in the Philippines. It is one of the famous animes that gave most people a great childhood to remember. I mean, who wouldn’t like Doraemon? He’s always there to save Nobita when he’s in limbo against Damulag.
In addition, his pocket in-front has a lot to offer from different gadgets and different tools. You can compare it to Xiaomi, a single store can offer you almost everything from a smartphone to AIoTs.
Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 Youth Doraemon Limited Edition in China as a pre-order for 2799 Yuan for 8/256 GB variant (~PHP 19,999). However, we don’t have any details yet if the limited edition will come globally. But, we will keep you posted.
Of course, it’s very important to know what kind of design Xiaomi filled all over the smartphone.
At the back, we can see that it was painted with blue. Major part of Doraemon’s face is printed at the bottom part. While in-front is just a plain look.
Meanwhile, the box is something you can keep as a collectible in your house. It’s like a vinyl figure, but a box. In the box, you can see half of Doraemon’s face, and underneath you will see his neck bell. The box is colored with blue to match Doraemon’s color.
To recall, Mi 10 Youth is equipped with Snapdragon 765G 5G. It has four cameras, and its main shooter is 48MP. Meanwhile, its display and back is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Lastly, its battery capacity is 4160 mAh.
Firstly, we have 5G network. Secondly, Super AMOLED display to emphasize the colors of your favorite TV shows and movies. Thirdly, fast charging 20W.
And lastly, if you’re or not a fan of Doraemon, you will get the benefit of having this device as a collectible. It may or may not bring value in the future, but its design is something you need to post in your Instagram stories or Facebook My Day.
