So here is the latest and probably the last from the Redmi Note 9 series, the Redmi Note 9T. One thing for sure is that this phone is the first global Redmi Note phone to be equipped with 5G capability inside the Mediatek Dimensity 800U. Too bad my location still have yet to get 5G cellsite so yeah have to stick with LTE for the meantime.
So I was right, this phone is exactly the same as the Redmi Note 9 5G which was released in China last month, it is exactly the same except 2 differences. The camera watermark, and the Google Play that you used the most. Now the Xiaomi ban in America did gave us a little scare back then but good thing it was just investor ban not supply chain ban which happen to close rival Huawei.
Checking the design of the phone it was pretty slick! The design is great and what I like about this one is the matte finish at the back, giving it a good grip despite slippery hands. Also the fingerprint scanner on the side is quite responsive, not that its flagship level responsiveness, but it gets the job done when you need it the most.
The only thing that probably is missing here is the 4th camera, namely the telephoto lens, I use a lot of zoom so naturally the zoom lens is essential for me.

For me I had a good experience with this phone, was able to play with it for a week now and I can be sure that I am satisfied with its performance. Multitasking and basic task are a breeze. Games that are not very graphics intense are okay, but I tried Genshn Impact, its a bit slowed down. But the rest of the popular games like ML, PUBG and Call of duty are pretty much playablle.

This 5000mah 18W capable battery does pack a punch. surviving a 16Hrs Screen on Time, its quite normal that you can last more than a day. Charging this phone from 17 to 100 percent using its default cable and charger. Based on my average normal usage, it lasted me 2 days before charing again which is a very big win for those looking for good battery endurance.
For me this phone definitely is a winner, be it for mild gaming or for multitasking, it got you covered. Its a good upgrade for the Redmi Note 9 series. Do check out my full review of the Redmi Note 9T here.
