Bengaluru, Karnataka β December 7, 2022 β In October, Xiaomi/Redmi unveiled its Redmi Note 12 Series exclusively in China and had it released in November. China is their biggest market and of course, it’s unsurprisingly that their second biggest market, India, would have a hand first before any other market on the Redmi Note 12 Series. And yes, they had just announced the Redmi Note 12 Series will come most likely this month.
In the phone lineup of the Redmi Note 12 Series in China, there are four: Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Discovery. If we speculate what Redmi Note 12 smartphone will come to India based on the poster, we can conclude three smartphones.
So what are the three smartphones that are coming to India? Well, based again on their poster ad, we can speculate that the pro, pro+, and discovery phones will come as all of them have three cameras at the back, while the base version only has one camera.
If I had to pick which smartphone Xiaomi will emphasize in this campaign, I think that would be the Redmi Note 12 Discovery. It features the newly introduced 210W Xiaomi HyperCharge and 200MP main camera. It’s also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass both front and back with aluminum as its frame. While it houses the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 (6nm).
Then if we have to compare the discovery version to a phone from Xiaomi based on paper, it has to be the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
