Beijing, CHINA – October 3, 2022 – The Redmi brand has officially released the Redmi Note 11R on the mainland. It came a bit late compared to its copycat phone, POCO M4 5G (Indian Variant). The difference is that the Chinese Variant offers more storage capacity than the Indian variant – with up to 8GB RAM and higher base storage. The Poco M4 5G comes in 4 GB/ + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM memory options, whereas the Redmi Note 11R is offered in 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM configurations. Also, the smartphone has a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage than can go up to 1TB.
The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G chip and operates Android 12-based MIUI 13. It sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD and a notch for the 5MP selfie camera.
Moreover, the device features a 13MP primary camera at the back with a 2MP depth sensor, the location of the sensor is near the flash module. And where you can see the POCO logo on the M4 5G of the Indian Variant is where the Redmi logo is also sitting.
In addition, like the other midrange devices, the Redmi Note 11R’s fingerprint scanner is on the side. The phone also houses a big 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. However, according to the in-box inclusions in their post, the package comes with a 10W adapter only.
Lastly, the Redmi Note 11R is available in grey, black, and blue colors. Yup, no yellow color option since this is not a POCO brand. However, we’re disappointed that there’s no white color available.
