China’s Capital, Beijing – July 25, 2022 – The two awaited Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and Redmi K50 Ultra memory configurations surface on TENAA. Both monikers are high-ends as they are packed with lots of specs and features. The first iteration of the Xiaomi Mix Fold offers the first-ever under-display Xiaomi device. Meanwhile, the Redmi K50 Ultra or maybe the Redmi K50 Pro Plus came from an iteration that offers high-end specs but not all of its specs and features – It’s more like a lite version of the Xiaomi flagship series.
Now moving with this upcoming second iteration of Xiaomi Mix Fold, rumors say that it may sport a 200MP rear-facing camera. Then, we may expect a second-generation under-display front-facing camera.
According to the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 (22061218C) is set to have 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM or with the same RAM + 1TB ROM. This phone will very definitely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. According to a 3C listing, it will handle 67W rapid charging (battery capacity is still TBA). And based on Digital Chat Station’s leaks and tips, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2’s internal and external displays will both refresh at 120Hz and have 10.3:9 and 21:9 aspect ratios, respectively.
The Redmi K50 Ultra or Redmi K50 Pro Plus (22081212C) follows, with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM option listed. This phone will most certainly include the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Digital Chat Station teased a rear-facing camera. So it’s a competition with Motorola to see who will launch first). This one got through 3C as well; it will have 120W fast charging and a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. According to speculations, the display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
We may expect that the Redmi K50 Pro Plus or Ultra, may be sold as the Xiaomi 12T Pro globally or another POCO phone, which may be the POCO F4 Pro or POCO X4 GT Pro.
