After a very boring and depressing ongoing ECQ and rising numbers of COVID-19 infections, Xiaomi wants to lit up the mood of its users and non-users in the Philippines by having Bamboo perform online.

Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines – Xiaomi, the country’s leading AIoT manufacturer and third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, has announced the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro MFF Special Edition with a tagline, “Explore Infinite Possibilities.”

This year’s MFF special edition is a pro version – unlike before, the “S” of Redmi Note 9 sport the design of MFF. The handset also celebrates the decade foundation of Xiaomi.

The Mi Fan Festival is an annual celebration of Xiaomi to seek user experiences, provide good deals, and announce their plan for the upcoming years.

Moving to its upcoming event for this year – Xiaomi is planning to kick off the event on April 06, 2021. Meanwhile, today, Xiaomi announces the handset that will succeed the MFF Special Edition.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro MFF Special Edition “Explore Infinite Possibilities” comes in a package with a cosmic-inspired design. Instead of white paper and the inner part of the box, it will come with a reddish-pink theme. Although the cable and chargers still have the plain white color. The front of the box features an image of astronauts floating through space. The box also has a Mi Fan Festival postcard. It features an image of Mi Bunny astronauts. However, the back of the postcard is a Mi Fan Festival theme sticker. This sticker can stick onto items such as mobile phones, computers, and suitcases.

According to Xiaomi, the MFF special edition phone represents the adventurous spirit of Xiaomi and seeks to encourage Mi Fans to explore the infinite possibilities in life by connecting Smartphone x AIoT.

Like its predecessor, the handset will also be sold in limited quantities. Make sure to keep an eye on the event starting April 6, 2021, to cop this limited edition.

U.S. Court rules in favor of Xiaomi against restrictions

Washington, DC., United States of America – March 12, 2021 – U.S. Court rules in favor of Xiaomi against restrictions. A Judge in Washington mandated the Defense Department from restricting U.S. investment in the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi Corporation.

Currently, Xiaomi is the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the market today. It is behind U.S. trillion-dollar company, Apple.

To recall, in the final days of the Trump administration, the Defense Department placed Xiaomi on a list of companies with alleged links to the Chinese military. This action triggers financial restrictions that were scheduled to go into effect this incoming week.

It was on Friday, a judge named Judge Rudolph Contreras put an end to the ban. He sides with Xiaomi in a lawsuit that argued that the move was “arbitrary and capricious” and deprived the company of its due process rights. In my opinion, this has something to do with the trade war going on between China and U.S.

According to the opinion of Judge Contreras, Xiaomi was likely to win based on litigation and issued an initial injunction. The company faced financial distress when the ban was announced. This action gives investors a second thought as to how they will decide for their stocks moving forward.

After the decision was made, Xiaomi is now requesting to the court to have the labeling as unlawful. This label includes Xiaomi as being connected to the Chinese Military, which is very alarming to users if someone is trying to spy on them.

Judge Contreras also wrote, “The court is somewhat skeptical that weighty national security interests are actually implicated here,” in his legal opinion.

The case is Xiaomi v. Defense Department, 21-cv-280, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia (Washington).
