Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro got teased globally

Hong Kong, CHINA – March 6, 2023 – It’s been over a year since Xiaomi announced and officially released its Buds 3 Pro. Now it’s the perfect time for the company to announce the next iteration. And as we expected, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro got teased globally through its social media accounts.

In reality, they are priced similarly to the AirPods Pro and higher than competitors. Xiaomi’s Buds set a lofty €250 price tag for themselves. They have everything – high-quality streaming, active noise cancellation, long battery life, dimensional audio, and head tracking.

Xiaomi opts in for a slick, classy design with formal rather than playful colors. Two color variants are available: Space Black and Star Gold. Both designs are two-tone finished—matte finished at the bottom and glossy finished on the lid. We think that users may have mixed reactions to the design. It is because of the glossiness, it looks like an extravagant accessory. However, not surprisingly the glossy finish on the lid attracts grease and smudges.

In Barcelona, Spain – March 1, 2023 – Xiaomi has been ramping up its new technologies to the tech community. Showcasing its newest innovative technologies, gadgets, ecosystems, and smartphones. Yesterday, the company unveiled that they are currently working on 210W and 300W HyperCharge. Days ago, the tech giant officially launched the Xiaomi 13 Series. Now, the company introduces 5G DSDA for its future smartphones.

Yes, the future smartphones of Xiaomi may capable of activating two 5G sim cards at a time. Gives you the option to receive a phone call from sim 1 and your sim 2’s signal or function won’t be bothered. Not only that, you can download using sim 1 and you can receive text messages + voice calls using sim 2 and your sim 1 will continue its 5G connectivity.

According to some sources, 5G DSDAs may become readily available around 3rd quarter or late 2nd quarter.

Xiaomi introduces 300W and 210W HyperCharge at MWC 2023

In Barcelona, Spain – February 28th, 2023 – It’s been a year since Xiaomi announced the HyperCharge. It’s the name the company provided for its ultra-fast wired charging technology. The 120W HyperCharge was a huge marketing campaign back then. So, I think, now that Xiaomi is at the MWC 2023, the company has chosen to introduce the newest ultra-fast wired charging technology to the world for their future smartphones—The 300W and 210W HyperCharge.

Based on its campaign, the 210W HyperCharge can fully charge a smartphone for approximately 9.3 minutes. The ad compares the charging time with cooking pasta, jogging, and taking your pet for a walk. 2 minutes of charging will give you 30%. 5 minutes of charging gives you 66%. Then, the 9.3 minutes approximately will fully charge your smartphone.

However, the company did not mention how much battery capacity those smartphones housed.

In addition, the company hasn’t confirmed what smartphones were used in the testing. Although looking at the wallpapers that resemble Redmi Note 12 Series, we may guess that the smartphone in the testing is a smartphone from Redmi Note 13 Series.

Xiaomi is making everyone feel present at this year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress). As we all watched the global launch of the Xiaomi 13 Series, the company startled everyone by portraying its newest smart eyeglass, the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition.

The Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass, as they are known, is a pair of wireless smart glasses in concept. They can connect to your phone or to other devices and provide an immersive AR experience—free of wires and dongles. Because of Xiaomi’s AR glass’s inadequate built-in storage, the device has to be connected to a host device to function. Like a wireless earphone.

Both the smart glasses have two micro OLED screens as well as a free-shaped light-instructing prism module that sends content to your eyes. They can produce up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness per glass. Xiaomi also added three camera modules for mapping out the user’s surroundings. This also helps with a better experience.

The smart AR glass features electrochromic lenses with an engrossed mode for complete immersion in virtual space and a transparent mode for viewing matters/objects in the user’s peripheral view. The headset weighs around 126g and is made of a magnesium-lithium alloy structure with carbon fiber elements.

Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass, like the Meta Quest Pro, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 1 platform and supports the Snapdragon Spaces XR developer platform. Moreover, the tech giant has created its own AR gesture commands with spatial detection for more precise commands and operations.

Meanwhile, the headset’s latency is as low as 50ms when paired with a smartphone, which Xiaomi claims are comparable to the latency of a traditional AR/VR headset connected via cable.
