In Beijing – August 4, 2021 – Xiaomi confirms Mi Mix 4 is set to launch on August 10 officially. The current leading seller in Europe posted the confirmation via Weibo. Both Beijing and Manila have the same time zone, which means the event held on August 10 at 7:30 PM will also be the same time that people in the Philippines can watch the event.
However, looking at the teaser post on Weibo, the company did not include any videos or pictures about the phone.
To remember, the recent TENAA filings revealed the device will come with model number 2106118C and equips 8GB RAM + 12GB ROM with up to 256GB of internal storage.
In relation to Mi Mix 4 appearance, Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, posted a video of Mi Mix 4 highlighting its under-display camera. The panel is fully illuminated just before it turns off, revealing the punch-hole cutout where the selfie camera will be able to see out of.
Several days earlier, Xiaomi PR confirmed that the Mi Mix 4 will come with MIUI 12.5 out of the box. The phone may be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor and might support 120W charging.
Meanwhile, the front-facing camera of the Mi Mix 4 is an under-display camera. Leaked renders also reveal the phone will have a display on the back next to the quad-camera setup.
