Hong Kong, CHINA – September 1, 2022 – Good news to all POCO lovers, enthusiasts, and casual users, POOCO announces POCO M5 and POCO M5s to launch on September 5, 2022, globally. The brand also let us peek at some of the specs and features of the two devices in the POCO M5 Series.
Based on their post, the standard variant will use the all-new MediaTek Helio G99 (6nm). Always remember that in the POCO M Series, the pro version has the 5G capability or chip while all the non-pro versions only have 4G. But some of the pro versions have 4G variants like the POCO M4 Pro.
In addition, it’s the first standard version in the POCO M Series to opt-in to a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the screen, we heard that it would sport a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen, case a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, three-storage options: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and features a side-mounted finger scanner.
Lastly, the POCO M5s is said to arrive in three color versions: gray, blue, and white. And, it should have exactly the same storage options as its sibling.
