Mainland China – June 18, 2021 – According to MyDrivers, a Chinese-based blogger and tech news website, the Mi Mix 4 may become Xiaomi’s first-ever smartphone to have an under-display camera
MyDrivers also added that the device has a full-screen display. This leaves us in baffled as to how the engineers will minimize the bottom frame of the phone. On the latter part of their blog, MyDrivers said that the phone will not sport a 2K resolution (2048 × 1080) – but rather they will put a high-resolution screen, which is far superior to a 1080p resolution.
It’s given that the Mi Mix 4 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 – the interesting part is – the device will be packed with a 4500mAh large battery with 120W wired fast charging. The only downside of the device is its price. The Mi Mix 4 may become pricier than the Mi Ultra 11.
Because of this news, the tech community has been in an uproar about Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 4 due to the fact that it may offer an under-display camera. If it happens, the device will obviously become Xiaomi’s first-ever under-display camera.
One blogger from China also revealed that Mi Mix 4 will come with only one variant. I guess this trend of having one variant on their flagship-level smartphones is working due to the fact that RAM/ROM is not much of an upgrade for some users. Most users picked the base version and they’ll just save their photos or videos on their computer and most of the time, on their Cloud.
Above all, it feels great to know that Xiaomi is still one of the top brands to offer such innovative products. We can expect the device to arrive in Q3 of this year, 2021.
