Design
I personally like the combination between gray and black with a touch of turquoise is very matching to the company logo color of Viomi, plus the color black is quite universal and it fits espeically to not so clean areas. My white robot vacuum looks dirty when you dont wipe it clean for a week, therefore, the black color is definitely a big plus here.

Comparison with Roborock S5
Okay so I have compared the Viomi Robot Cleaner to the Roborock S5 to see the main difference between the two flagship robot vacuum from each company. Now upon careful observation, definitely the Roborock S5 gets the job done faster as it only need to do it once since it can do cleaning and mopping at the same time. But one downside is that there is no guarantee your vacuum will not go back to the mopped place, leaving it wet and when the sweeping action comes to the wet area, the tendency is that it will wipe in the wet dust, thats why most of the time when I cleaned up the dustbin, there are some sticky dust inside.
Viomi on the other hand cleans it a little slower to complete the task, but the lower consumption in electricity makes it more economic friendly for our budget. The sweep only and the mop only function we did came to appreciate it as it does not only sweep the floor cleaner than the S5, but it also wipes the floor cleaner with its larger fabric and bigger water tank. Did you know that the water flow system is powered by a electrodynamic water seepage system that gives the constant flow of water from tank to the fabric. While the Roborock only uses gravity for the water flow from the tank.
There is a good news that there will be a 2 in 1 water tank version that allows the sweeping and mopping function together in just one task, this will be similar to the Roborock S5 but with a better system deployed.
There are some pointers that I need to clarify, this version of the Viomi Robot Cleaner is the beta version meaning it still does not support the MiJia App yet, the released version to the market now are the ones that fully support the MiJia App. Here is the side by side specs sheet of the two robot vacuum courtesy of my moderator friend hanizzo.

Roborock S5 vs Viomi Robot Cleaner Pro
After watching both robot vacuum go head to head with each other, I was able to ask my wife which vacuum was able to clean the floor better (especially the mop function), and she told me that the Viomi won her heart. This is after several days of continuous testing for 1 whole week, tho the Viomi has a smaller battery capacity, it still get the job done for a 150 square meter floor area. In most aspect they are almost at par, in terms of cleaning, in terms of speed in cleaning, the strength of the vacuum, the main difference was the dedicated mop function that makes Viomi the clear winner.
