Capital City of Beijing, China – March 27, 2021 – Abi Go, Head of Product Marketing, Global Spokesperson of Xiaomi, posted a video of the new fitness tracker band from the company. This only means that the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is confirmed included on March 29, 2021 launch event.
As we all know, Xiaomi Mi Band 5 was a huge success in the fitness tracker band market. It was last year that the Mi Band 5 was announced and then months after, the global version was released. For less than a year later, the successor is now on its way to continue the tradition, which is to dominate the market.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will be launched together with Mi Mix lineup, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Pro. We may also expect additional AIoT products to compliment the launch even more.
We are expecting the Mi Band 6 to have the following features: oxygen level detection (SpO2 monitoring), an improved user-friendly interface, and NFC. According to rumors in January, the band has 30 sports modes and a better battery charging capability. The display will be bigger this time.
Based on Abi’s video on Twitter, the Mi Band 6 has 5 variants. Violet. Light Yellow. Orange. Green. Light Green.
The Mi Band 6 should launch outside China as the Mi Smart Band 6.
