At last, we have a confirmation from US FCC that the K40 will become POCO F3. Like what we said in our hypothesis article, the predecessor, Redmi K30 Series, was rebranded to POCO F2 Pro and POCO X2.

Now – according to FCC SAR Test Report, the model name or model number is M2012K11AG and its FCC ID is 2AFZZK11AG. And lastly, its brand name is POCO. On the other hand, its market name is POCO F3.
We are still unaware as to when the POCO F3 will be officially released. As of the moment, Redmi Note 10 Series was the one prepared for release today at 8 PM. Looking at all these details, we conclude that the POCO F3 will debut in mid-April.
