
Aside from a SD 855 Flagship, Redmi confirms that they are working on an upper-mid-range phone with Qualcomm’s recently-announced Snapdragon 730. This is tweeted by Xiaomi India’s CEO Manu Jain.

Manu Kumar met with Qualcomm officials as posted on his Twitter photo. Also in that same tweet, Kumar confirmed that a Snapdragon 730-powered Redmi phone is coming pretty soon in India.
The Snapdragon 730 is an 8nm-based chip that uses new Kryo 470 cores, Adreno 618 GPU, and native support for WiFi 6.
