Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States – February 23, 2021 – Clarivate Analytics listed Xiaomi on the Top 100 Global Innovators. Clarivate Analytics is a company formed in 2016, following the acquisition of Thomson Reuter’s Intellectual Property and Science Business by Onext Corporation and Baring Private Equity Asia.
In addition, Clarivate owns and operates a collection of subscription-based services focused largely on analytics, including scientific and academic research, patent intelligence and compliance standards, pharmaceutical and biotech intelligence trademark, domain and brand protection.
Currently, the “2021 Global Top 100 Innovators” report of Clarivate has four Chinese companies that are selected, namely: Huawei, Tencent, Xiaomi, Telecommunications Science and Technology Research Institute (now part of China Information and Communication Technology Group Co., Ltd.).
Moreover, these four companies are without a doubt represents China’s business, enterprise innovation capabilities. In addition, they demonstrate the determination of Chinese enterprises to pursue innovation and never stop innovating.

And yes, realme, vivo, OPPO, and OnePlus’ BBK Electronics was not included in the Top 100 Innovators of Clarivate Analytics.
Currently, Xiaomi is the world’s third-largest smartphone brand and has established the world’s leading consumer AIoT (AI and IoT technology) platform with 289.5 million smart devices connected to its platform, excluding smartphones and laptops.
Xiaomi’s products are present in more than 90 markets around the world. They are also called the Apple of China because of having a large market stake. While in India they are the largest stake and the largest smartphone brand.
In August 2020, the company made the Fortune Global 500 list for the second time, ranking 422nd and up 46 places compared to the previous year. Let me also add that Xiaomi was only founded in 2010. Despite being the youngest, Xiaomi never stops pursuing being the top innovators in the world. And lastly, Xiaomi also ranked 7th among internet companies on the list.
