We heard that there was an awesome dimsum place to be opened in Robinsons Place Manila and we were quite excited to try it out ourselves. Introducing one of the oldest Cha Chan Teng in Asia since 1940s, Honolulu HK Cafe. I’m personally a big fan of Bo Lo Pao buns and I always eat them whenever I drop by Hong Kong.

Cozy
The ambiance was nice

Just like the old Cha Chan Teng
With Honolulu now in Manila, it was definitely a must to drop by and take a bite on the buns that I love. Upon entering their store, the ambiance was very friendly and it feels like a stall just like in Hong Kong. The price of the regular Bo Lo Pao was 50 Pesos and the Bo Lo Pao BBQ was priced at 60 Pesos. Not that expensive if I compare it with the price in Hong Kong.

When I took my first bite on the Bo Lo Pao BBQ, I feel like Im just eating one in the streets of Hong Kong, there were many bakeshop trying to copy the Bo Lo Pao here in Manila but for me none was close to the authentic taste. But here at Honolulu HK Cafe PH, I can say its almost the closest thing to the real deal.

Very Delicious!

Freshly Baked!
You must also try their eggtart as its very soft and smooth, also very similar to the ones I tasted in HK.
