Beijing–Hong Kong, China, September 5, 2021 – Xiaomi continues to impress its users by being the first-ever to some of the features available in the market—Android 12 was officially released from testing yesterday, and it will begin rolling out as an upgrade to current phones soon. Google’s Pixels, for example, may anticipate it “in the coming weeks.” This offers other manufacturers a chance to catch up—here are Xiaomi’s selections for the first phones to support 12GB of RAM.
Unsurprisingly, the Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra, the company’s most current flagship series, will receive it. Obviously, the users of the Mi 11 Lite will be disappointed. Additionally, because the deployment will begin in China, several local versions such as the Xiaomi 11X or Xiaomi 11i will be excluded (the 11i and others are doing beta tests, though, so they should get Android 12 soon as well).
And of course, in China, the first swarm of updates will go to the Redmi K40 Series—Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ respectively. However, the company hasn’t mentioned the date as to when it will be released to the public, the company also failed to mention if it will be a partial release.
Above all, it’s good to know that Xiaomi is getting the Android 12 first before the Google Pixel phones.
