Beijing, China, March 04, 2021 – Redmi, a former sub-brand of Xiaomi, posted on Weibo that they sold 300,000 units of Redmi K40. Redmi also said that the handset will be on sale again next Monday, March 8, 2021.
The total number of sales includes the three smartphones in the lineup: Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro.
Let’s also remember that these phones highlights some of the mind-blowing specs and features in the market today despite their lower price versus their competitor. The base version K40 has Snapdragon 870, which scored 691,000 on AnTuTu benchmark. It also has a LPDDR5, UFS 3.1, and WiFi 6. Not only that, it also has an AMOLED display with 120Hz of refresh rate.
On the other hand, the two pro versions boast Snapdragon 888, SuperAMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. In addition, both have high-definition audio Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certifications. Moreover, the pro version has 64 MP while the pro+ version has a leading-market 108 MP main shooter camera. Let’s all remember that these versions display has an E4 Panel, which is a Samsung-made panel that is present on high-end Samsung phones.
