Manila, Philippines – January 11, 2021 – we, Xiaomi Review, did an unboxing of Mi 11, the very first-ever Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-equipped smartphone.
To recall, Xiaomi announced that before the year 2020 ends, they will launch the Mi 11 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. And yes, they launched the Mi 11 on December 28th of 2020. This embarked a good year for Xiaomi as they – again – used the latest Qualcomm chip on their flagship device, and they are the very first to do it.
In addition, not only that the Mi 11 is the first-ever user of Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm, but it is also the very first smartphone from Xiaomi to use MIUI 12.5, the latest UI skin of Xiaomi.
And now without further ado, let me tell you the things you must know about Mi 11.

Firstly, the box doesn’t have a logo of Mi in front. You can only see 11. And then, inside we can found the usual things: user manual, sim ejector, jelly case, warranty card, and the beast itself, Mi 11.
Secondly, its cameras look futuristic in my opinion. It has a square design and the placements of cameras form a square also. The big camera lens is very noticeable and the lens is 108 MP (26mm). Meanwhile, in front, although I’m expecting an under-display camera, Xiaomi put a 20 MP punched-hole (27mm).
And for its features, well yeah, I know it is hard to bear this. However, Xiaomi did not include a 3.5mm headphone jack port. But to compensate for that, Xiaomi collaborated with Harman Kardon to help build the Speaker at the bottom part. Moreover, Xiaomi includes a noise-canceling mic next to IR Blaster.
And lastly, its design is very sleek as usual. It seems pretty classy and elegant. That’s what you’ll expect from a premium phone. So I guess, we can’t say much about the design, because it really looks like a premium phone. It is also safe to say that you can use this for bathroom shots for your gram photos.
